Marion Martin

     Marion Martin was born on 25 April 1811 at Cambusnethan, Lanark, Scotland.1,2 As of between 14 July 1864 and 1881,her married name was Lightbody.3 She married William Lightbody, son of Thomas Lightbody and Agnes Yates, between 1874 and 1875; Date of marriage to Marion Martin is bracketed by birth of Marion Martin Lightbody (1874) to Elizabeth Lightbody, obviously named after her step-mother, the joint Will of William and Marion dated 1875.3 Marion Martin witnessed the will of William Lightbody on 18 January 1875. Marion Martin died on 20 March 1893 at Kilncadzow, Carluke, Lanark, Scotland, at age 81.
