He and Mary Ethel Damon appeared on the census of 1930 at 792 Hancock St, Abington, Plymouth, Massachusetts; Census also reports a yet unidentified "Damon, James D, Nephew, age 15" in the household.10 William Erastus Cushing lived on 26 April 1942 at Abington, Plymouth, Massachusetts.5 He was employed on 26 April 1942 at W.P.A.5 He died on 17 June 1946 at West Abington, Plymouth, Massachusetts, at age 66.4 He was buried at Hillside Cemetery, Abington, Plymouth, Massachusetts.11
