     Ann Lightbody was born on 14 February 1851. She was the daughter of William Lightbody and Agnes Witherspoon. Ann Lightbody witnessed the marriage of Elizabeth Lightbody and James Weir on 14 June 1878 at Kilncadzow, Carluke, Lanark, Scotland; "according to the Forms of the Church of Scotland."1 Ann Lightbody died on 16 August 1916 at Braidwood, Carluke, Lanark, Scotland, at age 65.2
