     Adam Cushing was a blacksmith.1 He Adam moved to Weymouth, Massachusetts with his parents in 1726, and afterwards settled in Abington, Massachusetts where he became a blacksmith.2 He was born on 6 September 1719 at Hingham, Plymouth, Massachusetts.1 He was the son of Captain Adam Cushing and Hannah Greenwood. Adam Cushing lived in 1726 at Weymouth, Norfolk, Massachusetts.2 He married Sarah Reed, daughter of John Reed and Sarah Whitmarsh, on 9 June 1743 at Weymouth, Norfolk, Massachusetts.2
