     Donald Hudek was born on 29 March 1917.1 He was the son of Edward Lewis Hudek and Davall Margaret Muldowney. Donald Hudek appeared on the census of 1920 in the household of Edward Lewis Hudek and Davall Margaret Muldowney at Castle Rock, Grant, Wisconsin.2 Donald Hudek was buried in 1922 at Grand Street Cemetery, Highland, Iowa, Wisconsin.3 He died on 9 November 1922 at age 5; "When he was five, a hired hand lighting fire crackers, got some straw or hay on fire and burned Donald badly with third degree burns over most of his body, that of course he did not survive."1,4
