Elizabeth Lightbody was Farm Servant on 5 November 1865.1 She was Domestic Servant on 1 March 1872.2 She married James Weir, son of Charles Weir and Henrietta McCall, on 14 June 1878 at Kilncadzow, Carluke, Lanark, Scotland; "according to the Forms of the Church of Scotland."3 Elizabeth Lightbody was Domestic Servant on 17 June 1878.4 She and James Weir appeared on the census of 1881 at Kirkton Street, Carluke, Lanark, Scotland.5 Elizabeth Lightbody and James Weir appeared on the census of 1891 at Carluke, Lanark, Scotland.6 Elizabeth Lightbody and James Weir appeared on the census of 1901 at Motherwell, Lanark, Scotland.7 Elizabeth Lightbody died on 3 December 1926 at 58 Calder Street, Motherwell, Dalziel, Lanark, Scotland, at age 85; "Senile debility, heart failure gradual"

Note also that the SR record list Elizabeth's mother as Marion Lightbody (Martin), deceased. But this is really her step-mother.8
